1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, signing in, or using AI-CAI Tutor, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you use the platform for a school, college, training provider or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation where applicable.
If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the platform. Questions may be sent to eadraki@gmail.com.
2. Accounts, identity and administrator approval
- Registration information must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Users must select the correct learner or educator role and provide a valid student or staff identifier.
- New accounts remain inactive until an administrator approves them.
- An administrator may reject, suspend or revoke an account when its identity, role or use cannot be verified.
- Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, Google accounts and devices.
- Accounts may not be sold, shared or used to impersonate another person.
Google sign-in verifies a Google identity but does not replace the platform's role selection and account-approval process.
3. Educational purpose and human oversight
AI-CAI Tutor provides tools for curriculum delivery, lessons, assessments, feedback, tutoring assistance, progress tracking and educator monitoring. It supports teaching and learning but does not guarantee improved grades, examination results, admission, certification or any other educational outcome.
Teachers and institutions remain responsible for curriculum decisions, assessment standards, grades, safeguarding, accessibility accommodations and appropriate intervention. Platform-generated performance levels and risk indicators are internal decision-support information and must be interpreted in context.
4. AI-assisted features
Some features use artificial intelligence to answer questions, moderate content, generate teaching material, create media, or provide feedback. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased or unsuitable for a particular learner. Users must review important output before relying on it or presenting it as authoritative.
AI-CAI Tutor is not a substitute for a qualified educator or for professional medical, legal, financial, counselling or emergency advice. Users must not place confidential records or unnecessary personal information in AI prompts. Suspected harmful or inappropriate output should be reported to a responsible teacher or administrator.
5. Acceptable use
Users must not:
- Break the law, infringe another person's rights, harass others or distribute harmful material.
- Attempt to bypass account approval, access controls, lesson restrictions or another user's account.
- Upload malware, probe the service for vulnerabilities, disrupt availability or misuse automated access.
- Use the platform to cheat, fabricate academic work or misrepresent AI-generated material as original work where disclosure is required.
- Upload personal information about another person without proper authority.
- Use AI features to generate dangerous, abusive, discriminatory, sexually exploitative or otherwise unlawful content.
6. User and institutional content
Users and participating institutions retain their rights in curriculum files, lessons, assignments and other content they provide. They grant AI-CAI Tutor permission to host, reproduce, process and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the requested platform functions.
A person uploading content confirms that they have the necessary rights and permissions. Content may be removed or restricted if it infringes rights, exposes personal information, creates a safeguarding risk or violates these terms.
7. Children and young learners
AI-CAI Tutor may be used across educational levels. A minor may use the platform only with the oversight and authorisation required from the responsible institution, teacher, parent or guardian. The responsible adult or institution must ensure that account creation, data use, curriculum content and communication are age-appropriate and comply with applicable consent and safeguarding requirements.
8. Availability and changes
The platform may be updated, interrupted or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, provider outages or technical problems. Features that depend on internet access, AI providers, Google authentication, hosting or other third-party services may fail when those services are unavailable or change their requirements.
Features may be added, modified or withdrawn as the platform develops. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, an additional notice.
9. Suspension, termination and data requests
Access may be suspended or terminated for false registration information, security risk, misuse, breach of these terms, an institutional instruction, or a legal or safeguarding obligation. A user may stop using the service at any time.
Account-deletion and personal-data requests should be sent from the registered email address to eadraki@gmail.com. Some academic, security, safeguarding or legal records may need to be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy.
10. Responsibility, disclaimers and applicable rules
The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that every feature or AI response will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every educational purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Users and institutions remain responsible for independent backups of essential materials, human review of important decisions and compliance with the rules that govern their educational activities. These terms are intended to operate under the laws applicable to the platform's operation in Ghana, without preventing a user from relying on mandatory protections that apply in the user's location.
